What We Offer

We Can Do Hard Things Picture

Iaomai Academy provides academic support for students who are motivated to learn and succeed but are facing challenges that make school feel harder than it should. Our programs focus on building foundational skills, improving organization and follow-through, and helping students develop confidence in their ability to manage academic demands.

We recognize that many students are capable of more than their current academic performance reflects. With the right guidance, accountability, and instruction, they can learn how to reach their potential and move forward with clarity.

We support middle and early high school students (Grades 6-9) who are:

  • Motivated to learn, but feel overwhelmed by academic demands

  • Struggling with writing despite putting in effort

  • Concerned about their current academic standing or recent performance

  • Experiencing difficulty with organization and planning

  • Ready for clear structure, guidance, and accountability

Now Offering: Virtual Writing Coaching

Iaomai Academy now focuses on virtual writing coaching for middle and early high school students.

We help students who feel overwhelmed by writing learn how to plan, write, and revise with confidence through weekly one-on-one Zoom sessions.

The goal is clearer writing, stronger skills, and less stress around school. Learn more on the Writing Coaching page.

Coming Soon: Iaomai Advantage Virtual Saturdays

On Saturday, February 14, 2026, Iaomai Academy is launching a live, 3-hour online program for students in grade 9 focused on reading comprehension, academic writing, note-taking, and the skills required to succeed in high school with confidence.

This will be a small, closed cohort of 8-12 students to build a supportive community for students to grow and learn together. This pilot program will run bi-weekly on Zoom, starting at 10:00 am, from February 14 - May 23, 2026.

Learn more about the forthcoming program on the Virtual Saturdays page.

Our  Philosophy

  • Planning writing assignments turns overwhelm into clarity.

  • Drafting written work builds confidence when students know what to say and how to say it.

  • Revising writing works best when it feels safe, not critical.

  • Reading comprehension strengthens writing.

  • Organization and follow through make learning manageable.

  • Students grow when support is calm, patient, and consistent.
