Iaomai Academy to Pause Operations for 2025-2026
Pausing to Reflect, Reimagine, and Prepare for What Comes Next
Iaomai Academy has announced that it will pause all programs for the 2025–2026 school year.
While interest in the Academy’s personalized learning model has been strong, confirmed enrollment numbers have not reached the level needed to sustain operations in Fredericksburg. “We have had many wonderful conversations with families who value what we do,” said Shavonne, Founder and Learning Coach. “Unfortunately, without a larger base of committed students, it’s not feasible to move forward this year.”
If local demand increases during the year, the Iaomai Academy will consider offering a scaled or modified version of its programs. In the meantime, leadership will use this time to reassess the model and explore new types of offerings, with a final decision about returning in 2026–2027 expected before the end of the current school year.
